Ennio Morricone has composed the music for a large number and variety of films some of which have been hugely influential. His scores for the Sergio Leone westerns (A Fistful Of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More and The Good The Bad And The Ugly), a had a significant impact on the films and subsequent film scores. In A Fistful Of Dollars he set up a whistling motif that links to the man with no name and in the final stand-off there is a complex build up in the music that builds the tension and drama.
